What is Pathogen Testing?

We use a device called the Bana-Zyme. Bana-Zyme is a 5-minute express test that can be used to check for the presence of 3 particular bacteria which cause halitosis and periodontal disease. These three pathogenic bacteria are called Red Complex bacteria. They are Treponema denticola, Porphyromonas gingivalis, and Bacteroides forsythia.
